Product Description
Designed to be used in Industrial Robotics the MAC132B-0-JD-4-C/230-R-0/DI00520/S001 from Rexroth is a brushless AC Servo motor that can provide a standstill torque of 37 Nm making it a good fit for robotic joints in industrial machinery. The motor can draw a current of up to 72 Amperes when providing continuous standstill torque hence a high power compatible power supply unit is necessary to run this motor.
The MAC132B-0-JD-4-C/230-R-0/DI00520/S001 with tacho feedback and a mounted incremental encoder equips the motor with a control system that allows it to maintain its speed and also its position with the help of the high incremental steps of the encoder. The tacho feedback system on the MAC132B-0-JD-4-C/230-R-0/DI00520/S001 uses the INK 208, 75 meters long, IP 65 certified cable with a minimum bend radius of 40 mm and a cable diameter of 8.8 ± 0.3 mm.
The Rexroth MAC132B-0-JD-4-C/230-R-0/DI00520/S001 encoder outputs 1.250 lines and produces a TTL square wave signal for counting the square steps for rotation and shaft positioning. When the motor is moving in the opposite direction the encoder produces an inverted square wave signal which deducts the number of steps produced in the original position to reach its new counterclockwise rotated position. For bearing high radial load and transmission of torque the MAC132B-0-JD-4-C/230-R-0/DI00520/S001 features a feather key shaft according to the DIN 6885 standard. This feather key shaft allows the motor to accurately transmit its torque by precisely fitting the shaft in the compatible component without causing the shaft to bend and cause mechanical failure. To minimize vibrations this motor can be mounted on a supported flange mount structure to keep it sturdy and prevent mechanical failures and accidents.
