Product Description
The MAC132B-0-GD-X-X/230-R-0 is a 4000 rpm AC servo motor. This servo motor has a basic configuration as it is designed with drilling applications in mind. The servo motor has a torque rating of 22 Nm with a current of 13.5 amperes and requires 230 Volts AC to operate at 3-phase input configuration with an input voltage frequency between 50 to 60 Hz. This motor has a 3-pole design.
To allow the motor to accelerate and decelerate at a quicker rate, the MAC132B-0-GD-X-X/230-R-0 servo motor has a rotor inertia of 0.0125 kg·m². To help the motor at a much faster rate, the manufacturer recommends using high-speed or very high-speed reinforced bearings that allow this motor to attain a speed of up to 9000 rotations per minute. With such a high speed, it is always recommended to maintain the motor after every 20000 cycles of use and replace the bearings after every 30000 cycles of use to reduce wear and tear of the internal parts and to prevent the motor from being inefficient and help prolong the life of the motor.
This particular motor does not come with a cooling fan or an axial blower, however, it does use a natural convection cooling method to help cool the motor using the ambient air. This is the main reason why the manufacturer, Rexroth recommends installing this motor in a room that is well-ventilated to prevent the motor from overheating. The temperature of the ambient air should be between 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius. This motor can withstand dusty conditions of an industrial plant as well as withstand a low-pressure water splash all thanks to the IP 65 protection rating.
