Product Description
The MAC series of AC servo motors was introduced by Rexroth Bosch, a German-based automation company that is known for its high-quality induction and synchronous motors. Due to their excellent robustness and high efficiency, induction motors have a wide range of applications. These include transportation services, household appliances such as machines, kitchen equipment and agricultural machines. Induction motors are also employed in spinning machines, textile equipment, paper machines and robotics.
A typical induction motor consists of a stator, a rotor, windings, end balls, bearings, a shaft, cooling fans etc. The MAC132A-1-JD-1-B/230-R-0/DI01250 uses an axial blower as the cooling system that helps in heat dissipation. An axial blower consists of an impeller, housing, motor, inlet ball, outlet duct and a mounting frame. The axial blower as compared to other cooling systems has a compact design that helps in applications where small size with efficient working is required. In applications where high loads are present, these blowers offer high efficiency. The high efficiency is due to the high rate of flow of air through the blower. The MAC132A-1-JD-1-B/230-R-0/DI01250 comes with a size 132 and length A-frame.
The MAC132A-1-JD-1-B/230-R-0/DI01250 also has an incremental encoder mounted with shock damping. This system is involved in the measurement of the rotational speed of the induction motor as well as the direction i.e. whether the motor works as uni-directional or bi-directional. The shock damping helps in the fixed connection of the encoder and reduces the vibrations thus contributing to the overall noise reduction thus enhancing the efficiency as well as providing enhanced performance. It also increases operational life and improves the overall function of the motor.
