Product Description
With a speed rating of 6000 rotations per minute, the MAC114C-0-MD-4-C/130-B-1/WI569LX/S001 from Rexroth is an AC servo motor part of their MAC AC servo motor designed to be used in textile, robotics, machine tools, and many other manufacturing industries. This IP 65-rated servo motor comes with Class F insulation against fires that can reach a maximum temperature of 170 degrees Celsius. This motor has a temperature rating between 0 to 45 degrees Celsius and uses a Natural convection cooling phenomenon to help cool itself during heavy-duty operations.
The motor comes with a 5-volt 30 mA incremental encoder that has a configuration name of WI569LX. The incremental encoder has a resolution of 625 pulses per rotation and the encoder is only capable of allowing the shaft to rotate once. The shaft relies on a closed-loop control system in order to place the shaft accurately and to reduce errors in the angle rotation and shaft positioning. The motor also comes with a tacho feedback voltage system in order to help regulate the speed of the motor, keeping it under the set point. The tacho feedback voltage system generates a voltage of 3 volts for every 1000 rotations per minute of speed and sends the signal over to the control module to help the motor regulate its speed.
To prevent the shaft from moving during a power loss situation or prevent it from slipping from its position, the MAC114C-0-MD-4-C/130-B-1/WI569LX/S001 servo motor also comes with a 45 Nm blocking brake to prevent the shaft from moving from its position by keeping the shaft fixed in one place. This brake requires 24 volts DC to operate.
