Product Description
The MAC114B-0-SD-2-C/130-B-0/S006 magnetic servo motor is developed by Indramat Rexroth. Permanent magnet AC servo motors have properties that complement servo and AC induction motors in higher-end applications that need precisely metered speed, torque, or positioning. The MAC AC motor uses a sinusoidally dispersed stator winding to generate sinusoidal waveforms of EMF. Permanent magnets are either incorporated into the rotor or surface-installed on the lamination layer of the rotor.
The MAC motor of 114B dimension is a synchronous motor with a feedback mechanism for commutation and convection cooling for natural heat transfer. As cool surrounding air is needed to disperse heat from the motor to its surroundings, it must run in an ambient condition within a specific temperature range (0 to 45 °C). This cooling method is commonly utilized because it does not require any additional parts for air transmission or extra input power sources. Every component of the motor is protected according to certain criteria, like IP65 protection for the tachometer and output shaft.
The housing's layers are bonded together by the black primary coat. The primary coat creates a waterproof surface by filling up the voids. As a derivative feedback device, the tachometer adds a value of 0 at the origin. The system's rise and peak times shorten, allowing it to achieve its stable state faster and resulting in a drop in the system's time constant due to the addition of zero. A shaft seal is used in this MAC motor. Similar to other kinds of seals, their purpose is to stop materials from leaking, usually liquids like oil. Fluids can easily pass through a hollow passageway because a shaft seal provides a stable mating surface.
