Product Description
MAC114A-0-ED-3-C/130-A-0/S001 is a servo motor. It is designed by Bosch Rexroth for industrial applications such as textiles, robotics, machine tools and printing presses. MAC motors are made with permanent magnets, allowing the motor to run with very low inertia. Low inertia provides several benefits, including faster acceleration and deceleration, improved precision and responsiveness, and reduced energy consumption. MAC motors use electronic commutation instead of carbon brushes. Electronic commutation offers multiple benefits, including higher efficiency, improved reliability, reduced maintenance, enhanced torque performance, quieter operation and longer lifespan. All MAC motors have IP65 rated housings for robust ingress protection. This feature allows MAC motors use in many different operating environments. MAC motors support tacho feedback, which provides multiple benefits including accurate speed measurement, better torque regulation, real-time monitoring capabilities and reliable performance.
The MAC114A-0-ED-3-C/130-A-0/S001 is a motor with a shaft that includes a keyway. The benefit of this shaft design and effective torque transfer resulting from lack of relative rotation. The motor works with convection cooling and requires 0 to 45 degrees Celsius for rated output. Its main power connection is on side A of the housing. Blocking brakes are available as an option for MAC motors. However, this option is not installed on the MAC114A-0-ED-3-C/130-A-0/S001 motor. The recommended site elevation for rated output is 0 to 1000 meters. Bosch does not recommend operating MAC motors outside these recommended ambient limits. The power and feedback cables connect to independent sockets on the motor housing. These connections are IP65 rated which improves motor ingress protection. Connectors for these cables are not supplied by Bosch and must be ordered separately. Only qualified technical staff should work on the MAC motors.
