Product Description
The Rexroth Group manufactures the MAC112D-B-FD-3-F/180-B-0/S012 motor from the MAC series. The MAC series features rapid-response alternating current-based servo motors. The motor is additionally equipped with a mounted encoder for position evaluation. The motor is compatible with analog devices that use analog signals (continuous electrical signals) to carry information. The MAC motor uses the radial cooling method to maintain the surface temperature.
A radial fan is mounted on a shaft that revolves in synchronization with the rotation of the motor. The fan's position, size, and shape all have an impact on the airflow rate. The axial fan runs on an AC voltage of 115 V. Axial flow fans' speeds can be modified according to exhaust fans or cooling tower requirements. Even at the reduced speed, the fans generate high airflow. The motor has a maximum speed of 2000 revolutions per minute. Axial fans are simpler and more compact in design than other types of industrial fans. The designs are open and simple to understand. As a result, any operational problems that develop are easier to find and fix.
To ensure a constant output versus input reference, a tacho feedback system is installed. The tacho feedback helps to prevent the deterioration of the motor and saves component loss by detecting changes in the speed of the motor immediately. The locating central diameter of the motor is 180 mm. The MAC motors need to be kept in a dry, shock-free, and dust-free environment for storage. Both the output shaft and the connector housing have protective coverings. These plastic coverings shield the components that are sensitive to moisture and prone to damage. Remove protective covers only before installation.
