MAC112D-2-HD-4-C/130-B-0 is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor. It is part of the MAC series which is suited to applications involving machine tools, printing presses, packaging machines, and textiles. MAC motors are made with permanent magnets. Solid state electronics are used for commutation which prevents problems associated with carbon brushes on brushed AC motors. IP65 rated housings provide strong protection against dust and moisture ingress, enabling use of MAC motors in a wide range of applications. Separate power and feedback connections enable separation of power and feedback cables for reduced electromagnetic interference. Multiple cooling options provide flexibility in choice for applications with different load requirements. Multiple shaft designs provide suitable shaft hub connections. Blocking brakes provide added operational safety. The MAC112D-2-HD-4-C/130-B-0 motor is designed for surface cooling. The axial cooling fan installed on the unit requires 115 Volts AC.

Tacho feedback provides accurate and precise speed and position measurements. An additional incremental encoder provides an addition option for position feedback. Mounting guidelines described in the product manual must be followed to prevent equipment damage. Bigger and heavier motors must be transported with suitable lifting devices. To prevent bearing damage, the main shaft must be protected from impacts and heavy loads. Only trained personnel should be involved in mounting the motor to the machine. The AC servo motor must be grounded to the servo amplifier. Terminal diagrams provided by the machine manufacturer should be followed during motor wiring. Proper separation between power and feedback cables is mandatory for preventing interference. When encoder cables are routed parallel to motor cables, minimum 100 millimeters separation must be maintained or a metallic partition must be provided for the service cable.
