Product Description
Bosch Rexroth creates future-proof solutions for automation challenges by developing state-of-the-art drive units. Combining its MAC servo motors with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers will form rapid-response drives used in robotics, packaging machinery, handling equipment, and transfer facilities.
The MAC112D-0-HD-4-C/180-B-0/WA611XX/S011 is a powerful Bosch Rexroth MAC model that uses the cost-effective natural convection mechanism for heat dissipation. It can reach a nominal speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute and comes fitted with tacho feedback and a built-in incremental or absolute encoder. Like other MAC motors, the servo motor has a brushless build; hence, it has fewer maintenance requirements without a drop in efficiency. It also uses thermo switches in its stator as its temperature monitoring system, keeping it from permanent damage resulting from overheating. Its Ingress Protection rating is IP 65 according to DIN 40 050, meaning it is impervious to water jets and solid external materials. This is why it can be used under adverse conditions without the risk of damage.
A variety of ready-made cables can be used with the MAC112D-0-HD-4-C/180-B-0/WA611XX/S011 to simplify its installation. It also has a compact build that aids this and gives it a high power-to-weight ratio. Its bearing assembly is designed to permit the application of high radial loads so that pinions and belt pulleys can be directly mounted onto its shaft. A high cyclic load capacity is the result of electronic commutation in this motor, permitting continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. It has a black prime varnish covering its housing to prevent the potentially harmful effects of weathering, yellowing, and dilute acids and lyes.
