Product Description
Developed by a team of experts, Bosch Rexroth’s MAC servo motors are ideal for various applications. They are particularly suited for use in the creation of rapid-response servo drives by combining with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers.
The MAC112D-0-HD-4-C/130-B-1/WI524LV/S020 is one of the servo motors in the MAC motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has tachofeedback and a mounted incremental or absolute encoder with high resistance to environmental conditions. Its housing’s design also supports its operation in such conditions without the risk of damage since it is touch-proof, dustproof, and impervious to water jets sprayed at it from different directions. Hence, it has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to DIN 40 050. There is a 45Nm blocking brake in the MAC motor for the backlash-free holding of the servo axes when the machine is powered off. This conserves the energy expended during its operation and gives users greater control over its movement.
Natural convection is the designated cooling method for the MAC112D-0-HD-4-C/130-B-1/WI524LV/S020. It has thermo switches that prevent damage due to overheating by monitoring the motor’s temperature. Its high overload capability is due to efficient heat dissipation from its stator windings to the outside walls of its housing. To minimize the need for maintenance and improve its overall service life, it is built with a brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings. The bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. They also reduce detrimental environmental effects due to the use of lubricants and the disposal of used lubricants. This MAC model reaches a nominal speed of 1,500 revolutions per minute.
