The brake clamps the output shaft in a standstill mode. It should be noted that the holding brake alone cannot guarantee the safety of personnel because it can fail or wear down. Additional measures should be taken to ensure personnel safety. The power connection of the motor is directed to side A, and it cannot be changed. The device comes with motor length D and HD winding type. The unit is cooled by natural convection. The MAC motor features a tacho feedback and an incremental encoder with standard mounting. The tacho feedback option is intended for speed evaluation per tacho generator and rotor position recognition. The incremental encoder with standard mounting is meant for position evaluation and can be used in machines with lower shock loads. The ambient storage and transport temperature of the device is between -20?C and +80?C. The connections integrated into the power connection of the servomotor include a power cable, a connecting cable for the thermo switches, and a connecting cable for the holding brake.
