The MAC112D-0-HD-2-C/180-A-0/S003 is a high-performing AC servomotor from the house of Bosch Rexroth. The motor is equipped with a tacho feedback option. The tacho feedback is integrated into the motor for speed evaluation per tacho generator and rotor position recognition. The device can be operated even under poor environmental conditions. This is because the motor housing is completely enclosed as per protection category IP 65. Moreover, the motor power cables, the tacho feedback cables, and the encoder cables are designed to meet IP 65 demands. The temperature of the MAC motor is monitored with thermo switches integrated into its motor windings and stator housing. This prevents the risk of overload damage. The product sports high dynamic performance because of the favorable torque-inertia ratio. The compact construction of the device results in a high power-to-weight ratio.
