Product Description
Bosch Rexroth creates user-oriented drive and motion control products to simplify manufacturing processes. One of these is the MAC servo motor with a high power-to-weight ratio. Applications for which this motor is well-suited include robotics and printing presses.
The MAC112D-0-FD-4-C/130-A-2/WA606XX/S013 is an electronically commutated servo motor in the MAC series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its low inertia is due to the use of rare-earth materials in the permanent magnets of its rotor. It also gives the motor a good torque-inertia ratio for highly dynamic operations. The servo motor is enclosed in a sealed housing that is touch-proof, dustproof, and impervious to water jets according to the IP 65 protection category per DIN 40 050. This housing is painted with a varnish with protective properties against chalky buildup, yellowing, and weathering. It also protects the motor from the potentially damaging effects of dilute acids and lyes. The use of lifetime-lubricated bearings in the MAC motor reduces maintenance requirements and promotes energy-efficient operations.
Thermo switches protect the MAC112D-0-FD-4-C/130-A-2/WA606XX/S013 from irreversible damage due to thermal overload. It is cooled by natural convection and has a high overload capacity. Tacho feedback with a mounted incremental encoder detects and evaluates both rotor position and velocity in the MAC motor. Its heavy-duty blocking brake uses the closed-circuit principle to hold the servo axis backlash-free when the motor is disconnected from power. It has a holding torque of 60Nm. The servo motor’s nominal speed is 2,000 revolutions per minute, while its rotor’s moment of inertia is 230 x 10-4 kgm2. It supports the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to its shaft.
