Product Description
Improved productivity and efficiency are guaranteed when users integrate Bosch Rexroth’s drive and motion control products into their manufacturing systems. The MAC motors by the company are compact AC servo motors used in transfer facilities, textile machines, machine tools, and printing presses.
The MAC112D-0-FD-4-C/130-A-1/WI538LV/S014 is a model of the brushless MAC motors designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its housing is enclosed per protection category IP 65, according to DIN 40 050. This is why it can be safely used directly within the working area of the machine, even under poor environmental conditions. Its power, encoder, and tacho feedback cables are designed to meet the demands of this protection category. The servo motor is cooled by natural convection and is equipped against overload damage by the efficient transfer of heat from its windings to the outside walls of its housing. There are also thermo switches in its windings and stator housing to monitor its temperature and guard against overheating.
Working with electronic commutation, the MAC112D-0-FD-4-C/130-A-1/WI538LV/S014 can accommodate continuous start-stop operations with high repetitive rates. Its lifetime-lubricated bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. They aid the motor’s maintenance-free operation since they do not require relubrication. The MAC model can be mounted in any orientation thanks to its compact size. Since its bearing assembly allows the application of high radial loads, pinions and belt pulleys can be directly mounted onto its shaft. Tacho feedback with a mounted incremental encoder is used for the detection and evaluation of the rotor velocity and position in this servo motor. It has the standard tacho type and permits standard mounting.
