Product Description
High power-to-weight ratios and excellent running qualities distinguish the AC servo motors of the MAC series by Bosch Rexroth. Combined with the TDM, KDS and DSC drive controllers, these motors with tacho feedback form rapid-response drives.
The MAC112D-0-FD-4-C/130-A-1/WI530LV/S005 is a brushless servo motor in the MAC series with a nominal speed of 2,000 revolutions per minute. It is fitted with a standard blocking brake of 45Nm holding torque to hold the servo axis when the machine is disconnected from power. This blocking brake operates with the closed-circuit principle and prevents energy losses. It also protects both users and the machine from operational hazards. The use of lifetime-lubricated bearings in the MAC motor aids its maintenance-free operation since additional lubrication is not required. They also reduce friction and wear, resulting in better motor efficiency. These bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. The MAC servo motor is cooled by natural convection.
An output shaft with keyway ensures a reliable, form-fitting torque transmission in the MAC112D-0-FD-4-C/130-A-1/WI530LV/S005. It promotes even torque distribution and supports the application of high radial loads. The design of the bearing assembly of the servo motor also permits such loads, allowing the direct attachment of pinions and belt pulleys to the shaft. To accommodate highly dynamic operations, the rotor of this MAC model has permanent magnets built from rare-earth materials. They give the motor a low inertia and the required torque-inertia ratio for such operations. Its rotor has a moment of inertia of 230 x 10-4 kgm2. The black prime varnish coating of this motor is highly resistant to chalky buildup, weathering, and yellowing.
