Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures world-class drive products suited to solve multiple automation challenges. Its MAC motors are permanent magnet-excited servo motors with tacho feedback used to build rapid-response drives. Some of their applications are printing presses, handling equipment, transfer facilities, and robotics.
The MAC112D-0-FD-4-C/130-A-1/WA610XX/S005 is a compact servo motor in Bosch Rexroth’s MAC series. It features an output shaft with keyway, according to DIN 6885-1, to provide a form-fitting torque transmission. Its sealing ring protects the motor by preventing liquids from entering through the shaft. Another protective feature of the servo motor is its sealed housing coated with a black prime varnish. The varnish is resistant to chalky buildup, weathering, and yellowing. Dilute acids and lyes also have minimal effects on the housing thanks to this varnish. Solid external materials and multidirectional water jets cannot penetrate the motor because its housing meets the requirement of the IP 65 protection category according to DIN 40 050.
Cooled by natural convection, the MAC112D-0-FD-4-C/130-A-1/WA610XX/S005 displays a high overload capacity. It also ensures energy-efficient operations with its use of lifetime-lubricated bearings. The nominal service life of these bearings is 30,000 operating hours. Its rotor’s permanent magnets are created from rare-earth materials, giving it a low inertia. Thermo switches in the windings and stator housing of this MDD model monitor its temperature to prevent damage caused by thermal overload. It is cooled by natural convection and is designed to permit efficient heat dissipation from its stator windings to the outside walls of its housing. In addition, it has a high cyclic load capacity that is ideal for continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates.
