It delivers a highly dynamic performance due to its favorable torque-inertia ratio. Its low inertia is the result of the use of rare-earth materials in the permanent magnets of its rotor. This low inertia gives the motor fast response times and ensures minimal energy consumption during high-speed operations. The MAC motor is compact and lightweight, guaranteeing a high power-to-weight ratio. Its output shaft is the type with keyway in line with DIN 6885-1 to provide form-fitting torque transmission. It is equipped with a standard sealing ring that prevents liquids from penetrating the motor along the shaft.
Since it is electronically commutated, the MAC112D-0-FD-4-C/130-A-1/WA604XX/S005 can withstand repeated stress cycles without failing due to fatigue. This means it has a high cyclic load capacity that supports continuous start-stop operations with high repetition rates. Its bearings remain lubricated throughout their service life to enhance the motor’s operational durability and aid its maintenance-free operation. These bearings have a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. The design of the bearing assembly makes the application of high radial loads possible. Consequently, pinions and belt pulleys can be directly mounted onto the shaft. Like other MAC motors, the Ingress Protection rating of this model is IP 65 per DIN 40 050.
