Product Description
MAC112D-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0/WI520LV/S005 is an advanced MAC series AC servo motor. It is a product of Bosch Rexroth. MAC motors work in combination with servo controllers from the TDM, KDS, and DSC series. Drive controllers perform two main functions: they supply motor power and control motor parameters such as speed and torque. Two cables connect MAC motors to the drive controllers: a power cable and a feedback cable. Connections for these cables are located on the motor housing. Connectors for these cables are not supplied with the motor and must be ordered separately. Operators can select the power connection location in the equipment order. On the MAC112D-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0/WI520LV/S005 motor, the power connection is located on side A. The main motor shaft has a keyway and complies with DIN 6885-1 requirements.
These shafts are suitable for form-fitting shaft-hub connections. MAC motors with smooth shafts are also available which are suitable for non-positive shaft-hub connections. The MAC112D-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0/WI520LV/S005 motor does not feature a blocking brake. However, operators can order either a standard blocking brake, a heavy duty blocking brake, or an extra heavy duty blocking brake for MAC112 series servo motors. The motor is designed for convection cooling which relies on movement of ambient air over the motor housing. MAC motors support surface cooling as an option, which requires installation of an axial or radial cooling fan on the motor. Rated torque output of the motor with convection cooling is 35 Nm. Rated current output of the motor with convection cooling is 63 Amps. Bosch recommends 0 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature and 0 to 1000 meters altitude. A prime black coat protects the motor housing. Weight of the motor is 59 kilograms.
