MAC112D-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0 is a Bosch Rexroth AC servo motor. It is part of the MAC product line. The motor has an IP65 rated housing that is dustproof and is safe from low pressure water jets. The feedback and power connections on the motor housing are also IP65 rated. MAC motors are designed with electronic commutation which ensures these motor operate reliably and with reduced maintenance requirements. The use of bearings lubricated for their complete operating lifespan makes MAC motors maintenance free. Permanent magnets made with rare earth material allow development of motors with low rotor inertia, which enables faster response, enabling rapid acceleration and deceleration. Bosch has designed the MAC112D-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0 motor for convection cooling. If required, operators can order MAC motors with the optional surface cooling feature. Optimal ambient temperature for MAC motors is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius.
Derated operation is allowed at temperatures ranging from 45 to 55 degrees. MAC motor operation at temperatures exceeding 55 degrees Celsius is not permitted. The optional site elevation for MAC motors is 0 to 1000 meters. Derated operation is permitted at temperatures ranging from 1000 to 5000 meters. MAC motor operation at elevations exceeding 5000 meters is not permitted. Mechanical specifications for the MAC112D-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0 motor include 59 kilograms weight, 535 millimeters housing length, 130 millimeters centering diameter, and 32 millimeters shaft diameter. The motor has a plain shaft. If required, operators can order shafts with keyways. MAC motor are equipped with tacho generators and support tacho feedback for speed and position evaluation. The MAC112D-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0 motor is equipped with an additional mounted encoder for position evaluation.
