MAC112D-0-ED-4-0/130-A-0/WI520LX/S005 is a MAC series servo motor from Bosch Rexroth. MAC motors work in combination with motor controllers from the TDS, DSC and KDS product lines. MAC motors are available in IP65 rated housings that allow installation in a wide range of operating environments. MAC motors support electronic commutation for reliability and reduced maintenance requirements. The optimal operating temperature range is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. MAC motors support multiple cooling methods, including convection cooling and surface cooling. Surface cooling offers improved heat dissipation but requires installation of an optional cooling fan. Motors with surface cooling deliver higher output current and torque. A power cable with larger cross section is also required for surface cooling. The MAC112D-0-ED-4-0/130-A-0/WI520LX/S005 motor is designed for convection cooling. Bosch recommends 4 AWG cable for motor power. Speed rating of the motor is 3000 RPM.

The continuous output torque at standstill is 35 Nm and the continuous output current at standstill is 63 Amps. The main power connection is on side A of the motor housing. MAC motors support optional blocking brakes. However, a brake is not installed on the MAC112D-0-ED-4-0/130-A-0/WI520LX/S005 motor. The motor has a shaft with keyway that satisfies DIN 6885-1 requirements. MAC motors with plain shafts are also available. The motor supports tacho feedback for speed and position evaluation. An optional mounted encoder for position evaluation is also installed on the motor. Proper routing is essential for interference-free operation of feedback cables. The feedback cables should be routed separately from power cables. If routed in parallel, the motor and feedback cables must be separated by at least 100 millimeters. Connectors for feedback cables must not be inserted or removed when the motor is energized.
