Product Description
MAC motors achieve a high degree of reliability because of the following structural features. Maintenance-free operation due to: - the brushless design of the motor and - the use of life-time lubricated bearings. These components are suitable for direct use within the machine's operating environment, even under challenging conditions such as exposure to coolants and soluble oil emulsions. This is ensured by the motor housing being fully enclosed according to protection class IP 65. Additionally, the motor power cables, tacho feedback cables, and encoder cables are all designed to comply with IP 65 standards. The motor's temperature is continuously monitored through integrated thermo switches within the motor windings and stator housing, protecting it from potential overload damage.
The MAC112C-6-HD-4-C/130-A-1/WA612XX features a standard tacho type with a centering diameter for B05 & B14.The output shaft has many customizations available and the user can select any one of their availabilities. The holding brake provides a backlash free servo axis which is essential when the motor is not being powered. The MAC series has optionally 3 holding brake, the MAC112C-6-HD-4-C/130-A-1/WA612XX has a standard blocking brake of a holding torque of 80 Nm. INDRAMAT recommends the use of plain output shafts but output shaft with keyway can also be used.
The motor's design allows for flexible installation, with the power output direction configurable in four different orientations: connector to side A, side B, to the left, or to the right. For this specific model, the connector is positioned on side A. The motor is also designed with a standard pilot diameter of 130 mm, suitable for flange mounting; however, custom pilots with a diameter of 180 mm are available to accommodate specific installation requirements. Performance-wise, the MAC112C-6-HD-4-C/130-A-1/WA612XX operates at a nominal motor speed of 2000 RPM.
