For mounting of pinion belts and pulleys to give drive to machine elements they can be directly mounted onto the shaft because of high radial loads are possible due to bearing assembly. The bearings on side A are responsible for radial forces and the side B absorbs the axial forces felt by the motor. Side A is the side affected by thermal deformation. The IM B5 or IM B4 are the possible orientation configuration, these are made possible due to Flange design with through holes in the flange.
