Product Description
The MAC112C-0-KD-2-C/130-B-0/S023 is a brushless Permanent magnet servo motor that has a motor size of 112 and comes with a frame length of size C. This AC-operated servo motor requires 168 to 480 volts AC to operate with the input phase requirement of 3 phases along with the input frequency of 50 to 60 Hz for the motor to function according to the world voltage standards. This motor is designed to provide a speed of up to 1500 rotations per minute and can generate a torque of 28 Nm while drawing a current of 41 Amperes from the power supply module. For higher speeds and loads, this motor may draw higher current ratings. The Rexroth MAC112C-0-KD-2-C/130-B-0/S023 relies on natural cooling, thus it must be installed in places with temperatures less than 40 degrees Celsius and at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. The higher level installation allows air from the surrounding environment to pass into the motor's internals, assisting in cooling its internal temperature.
Since this motor is designed to provide a medium speed of 1500 rpm but can provide a considerable amount of rotational torque, the MAC112C-0-KD-2-C/130-B-0/S023 can be used for robotics as this motor is also designed to be low inertia allowing the motor to quickly adjust its speed and torque when being used in high speed or other time-critical applications.
This motor model also comes with a tacho feedback system in order to regulate the speed of the motor by generating 3-volt feedback signals which whenever the motor reaches a speed of 1000 rpm is generated by this module. This motor comes with a 5-volt incremental encoder that requires 4 kHz of PWM control signal to operate. The encoder allows the motor to move to accurate positions with the help of small and precise incremental counts.
