The MAC112C-0-KD-1-B/130-A-1/DI00625 is a 112 mm AC Asynchronous servo motor that has a length C. This servo motor comes with the KD configuration that allows it to attain a rated speed of 1500 rpm. When this motor is used for high torque rotations and in locked rotor configurations, this servo motor has a lock rotor torque of 28 Nm. The motor is also very lightweight, weighing approximately 48 kg.
This motor comes with an incremental encoder that relies on 625 pulses for one complete rotation. This encoder requires 5 volts DC to operate and has a current requirement of 30 mA with a 5% tolerance for both voltage and current. The MAC112C-0-KD-1-B/130-A-1/DI00625 also features a tacho feedback system which is used for adjusting the speed of the motor by generating a 3 volts tacho feedback voltage. This feedback is used to calculate the current speed and adjust it according to the PID values of the control system of the motor to bring it closer to the speed set point.
To ensure the shaft of the motor does not slip or move from its locked position required by the application, the MAC112C-0-KD-1-B/130-A-1/DI00625 comes with a standard blocking brake which produces a blocking torque of 45 Nm. This brake requires 14 volts DC to operate and draws around 0.75 Amperes of current to function. Hence, this motor's power supply should be capable enough to provide both AC and DC outputs in order for the motor to function completely. The brake latches on quickly with a minimal delay of 30 ms while releasing the brake from the lock it takes 70 ms to release the shaft from the lock.
