Product Description
The MAC112C-0-KD-1-B/130-A-0/DI01250 is a 1500 rpm servo motor that offers a medium torque output of 28 Nm when in standstill mode of operation. This servo motor comes with an incremental type encoder to help position and track the location of the shaft during high-speed rotation, and one complete rotation is signified when 1,250 lines are generated as this encoder generates lines instead of square wave pulses, with one complete rotation generating 1,250 lines.
This motor is a low inertia design with a rotor moment of inertia of 0.170x10^-4 kgm² allowing the motor to quickly increase and decrease the speed of the motor shaft, enabling it to quickly respond to changes in control signals transmitted by the motor controller. This motor also comes with a tacho feedback speed control system which generates a 3-volt control signal whenever the motor registers a 1000 rpm speed. This process is integrated to ensure the motor remains within the speed limit of the control system for safe operation.
This motor has an efficient design as it consumes around 31 Amperes of current and has a torque constant of 1 Nm per Ampere of current it consumes, allowing the design to be very energy efficient with minimal losses. The motor winding has a low resistance of 0.37 ohms, which leads to low power dissipation as heat, and also comes with a 4.5 mH inductance to help smooth the spikes in the supply voltage. Since this motor is energy efficient and has low-level power dissipation, the motor does not get very hot often and relies on Natural convection cooling to cool itself in the case of heavy-duty operation.
