Product Description

The MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-B-0/WI534LX/S005 is an asynchronous motor produced by Rexroth Bosch. The motor has a nominal RPM of 2000 min-1 means the motor runs at this speed in normal working conditions. Nominal speed makes the motor efficient and appropriate for various industrial uses that require high accuracy such as in robotics, and conveyors. Thus, maintaining an appropriate nominal RPM is important in preventing additional wear, and enables continuous smooth performance and high energy efficiency.

This motor has centering diameter (130 mm) which is useful for accurate alignment of the motor with other mechanical parts like gearboxes, couplings, or flanges where it is connected. Correct centering diameter reduces the level of vibrations and facilitates the stable transfer of the torque. This motor does not have a holding brake because it continues to produce torque when powered and retains the position of the rotor. When accurate stop and holding positions are not necessary, the lack of a holding brake simplifies the motor and therefore decreases maintenance frequencies. It is designed for use in various equipment such as fans or pumps where steady movement is more desirable than position precision.

The output from an incremental encoder with standard mounting is used to provide speed and position feedback information. This produces pulses as the motor turns, and this makes it easy for the control system to regulate and measure the speed. The encoder has several benefits which include being easy to design, durable and cheap. The standard mounting also helps with easier installation and provides easy placement of bearings on the motor shaft. The applications of incremental encoders include speed-controlled systems, machine tools, or even printing presses, in which the encoders provide accurate and timely readings for adequate performance.
