Its continuous output torque at standstill is 27 Nm. The continuous output current at standstill is 41 Amps. These output ratings are for MAC112C motors designed for convection cooling. MAC motors with the surface cooling option deliver higher output torque and current, albeit with increased expenditure requirements for axial or radial cooling fans. The motor has a shaft with keyway. This type of shaft is suited to form-fitting shaft-hub connections. Plain shafts are also available for MAC motors. Centering diameter of the MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-B-0/WI524LX/S005 motor is 130 millimeters. Larger centering diameters ? 180 millimeters ? are available for MAC motors. Four options are available for the power connection location.

The power connection on the MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-B-0/WI524LX/S005 motor is on side B of the housing. The motor is equipped with a tacho generator for tacho feedback and an additional encoder for position feedback. The power, and feedback cables connect to the motor via connectors on the corresponding flanged sockets. All cable connections on the motor comply with IP65 requirements. The motor housing is IP65 rated. MAC servo motors are protected by housing and covers which adhere to the guidelines found in DIN 40 050. The motors are protected against contact with motor parts, penetration by extrinsic objects and water penetration. With this strong ingress protection, MAC motors can be deployed in adverse operating conditions. Only trained personnel should install and handle MAC motors. The feedback and power cables must be separately by an appropriate distance. Failure to provide adequate spacing between these cables can lead to interference.
