Product Description
MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-B-0/WI524LV/S005 is a servo motor. It is part of the MAC product line from Bosch Rexroth. The motor is designed for industrial applications such as machine tools, printing presses, robotics and textile machines. MAC motors can be used near the working area of the machine even under poor environmental conditions such as presence of coolants, soluble oil, and emulsions. This is because the motor housing is IP65 compliant and the motor power and feedback cables are designed to meet IP65 demands. MAC motor features include electronic commutation, IP65 rated housing, separate power and feedback connections, and tacho feedback. MAC motor options include additional encoder, shaft with keyway, larger centering diameter, holding brake, and choice of axial and radial cooling fans. The MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-B-0/WI524LV/S005 motor has a shaft with keyway.
This shaft is DIN 6885-1 compliant. Diameter of the shaft is 32 millimeters and 60 millimeters of the shaft are outside the main housing. The main power connection is on side B of the servo motor housing. Operators most procure connectors for power and feedback cables separately. The motor supports tacho feedback. An additional incremental encoder is installed on the motor. The motor is without a holding brake. Heat produced during operation is dissipated via convection cooling. Bosch recommends 0 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature for motor operation and -20 to 80 degrees Celsius for motor storage. Unused MAC motors must be protected from dust, corrosion, and strong shocks during storage. MAC motors are compatible with TDM, KDS and DSC series controllers. These controllers supply motor power and control motor speed and torque. For motors with holding brakes, the controllers also control operation of the brake.
