Product Description

With a standstill torque rating of 27 Nm, the MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-2/DI518LV/S018 from Rexroth is a perfect AC servo motor designed for heavy industrial robotics tasks. This motor can draw up to 41 Amperes of current without overheating and relies on natural convection cooling, requiring it to be installed in open and well-ventilated rooms. This motor also has a quiet design since it does not feature noisy fans and has a noise level rating of 70 dB for up to a 1-meter distance.

The MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-2/DI518LV/S018 servo motor has a speed of 2000 rpm when operating under nominal conditions and can also be operated under derated conditions, generating a rotation speed of 500 rpm. This motor is also perfect for drilling and CNC milling applications as it can produce controlled speed with the help of a tacho feedback speed control system. The tacho voltage of the feedback system is 3 volts per 1000 rpm of speed. With the help of the DI518LV incremental encoder, the MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-2/DI518LV/S018 servo motor can accurately rotate the shaft by generating square wave pulses for every increment and is also capable of detecting direction changes with the help of the inverted amplitudes of the square waves produced by the encoder.

To prevent the shaft from unnecessarily rotating when the motor is not active, the MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-2/DI518LV/S018 also features a heavy-duty blocking brake with a holding torque of up to 60 Nm. This blocking brake has a moment of inertia of 32 x 10^-4 kgm² that allows it to act quickly when needed. The release delay of this brake is 150 ms while the clamping delay is 30 ms.
