Product Description
Designed for high-stress industrial automation applications, the MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-1/WI565LX from Rexroth is designed for heavy-duty applications such as machine tools, packaging machinery, and robotics. This particular motor model requires a nominal input voltage of 168 volts AC to operate with an input configuration of 3 phase and requires an input frequency of 50 Hz to 60 Hz. The motor winding has a low resistance of 0.150 ohms that helps it dissipate lower levels of power as heat and also comes with a winding inductance of 2.5 mH, limiting it to how quickly current can increase or decrease, helping smooth out current spikes.
With a lower rotor inertia of 170x10^-4 kgm², the Rexroth MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-1/WI565LX offers higher response time, allowing this motor to quickly increase and decrease its speed without stalling. This feature is perfect for high-speed motor rotations as this will allow this servo to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as robotics. To further enhance the robotics experience, the MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-1/WI565LX comes with a WI565LX incremental encoder with standard shock-damped mounting. This encoder allows this motor to move its shaft accurately to the requested position with fine and precise positioning.
The motor also comes with a tacho feedback speed regulation system that generates a tacho voltage of up to 3 volts for every 1000 rpm of speed that this motor attains. This allows the motor controller to regulate the speed by transmitting a control signal in order to keep the motor speed fixed for a specific application. The encoder and the power connector of this motor are placed on side A, which is the front of the motor, making it easier to access.
