Product Description
Part of the MAC AC servo motor series, the MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-1/WI564LX/S021 from Rexroth offers a robust design by providing a speed rating of 2000 rotations per minute and offering a torque of up to 27 Nm. This motor requires 167 volts AC nominal to operate with a 3-phase input configuration and an input voltage frequency of 50 Hz to 60 Hz. The motor does support an EMC line filter capacitor allowing it to suppress noise when operating.
The motor has an ambient operating temperature range recommended by the manufacturer of 0 degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius when operating, while kept in storage, this motor should be stored in an environment with an ambient temperature of -10 degrees Celsius to 80 degrees Celsius to help prolong the life of the motor. This motor relies on the Natural convection cooling method to cool itself during high-temperature operations. The motor offers a thermal time constant rating of 100 minutes, which is the time it takes for the motor's temperature to reach approximately 63.2% of its final steady-state temperature after a change in load or environmental conditions.
This particular model comes with a WI564 motor encoder that helps with accurate shaft positioning and also a tacho feedback system to regulate the speed of the motor. It also features a standard blocking brake that prevents the shaft from rotating automatically and keeps it perfectly aligned even when the motor loses power. The brake has a holding torque of 45 Nm, requires 14 volts DC to operate, and draws around 0.75 amperes of current when engaged. The brake release delay of this motor is 70 ms and the clamping delay is around 30 ms, making this motor brake highly responsive.
