The MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-1/WI534LX/S005 is an AC servo motor designed to be used with TDM, DSC, and KDS drive controllers used in industrial automation applications such as machine tools, textile machines, printing presses, packaging machinery, robotics, handling equipment, and transfer facilities. This model has a speed rating of 2000 rotations per minute and can provide a torque rating of 27 Nm when in stand-still mode, making the motor perfect for high-torque applications such as industrial robotics.
Users can use this motor model to operate high gear ratio gearboxes and control the shaft speed with the help of a tacho feedback control system that generates 3-volt signals for every 1000 rotations per minute of speed the motor attains. The generated control signal allows the motor to help regulate the speed of the shaft, keeping it well within the set point added to the closed-loop control system this motor follows. The motor also comes with the WI534LX incremental encoder that requires 5 volts of DC voltage to operate and generates square wave pulses to calculate the motor shaft's position. In the case of direction detection, the encoder recognizes the negative edge of the square wave pulse to signify direction change.
This motor has a special shaft design with a shaft keyway design per the German DIN 6885 standard. This standardized slot or groove on the motor shaft aligns with a matching key in the load component, such as a gear, pulley, or coupling, helping transmit torque much more effectively, and creating a secure and non-slip connection between the shaft and the connected component. The motor has a centering diameter of 130 mm and would require a flange mount of 130 mm as well to mount securely.
