Product Description
Rexroth Bosch's MAC112C-0-HD-4-C/130-A-0/WI522LV/S023 is an AC induction motor. These motors are used in different industries due to their many advantages, including long service life, ease of maintenance, and high levels of efficiency. In contrast to synchronous motors, which have a rotor with the same speed as the magnetic field, asynchronous motors rotate with a slight difference in speed, called slip. This slip is required to produce torque in the motor, making it a significant feature.
The power connection to side A is advantageous for functionality because of the wiring setup. This connection also facilitates the easier installation process which makes the wiring neater and safer from dust, water or mechanical pressure. This connection increases the protection and durability of the components of the motor and reduces the chances of potential failure. This motor has a 130 mm centering diameter for designs B05 and B14. This reduces vibration and provides the smooth operation of the shaft. One of the significant characteristics of this motor is that it does not have a holding brake. The motor is controlled with precision through the power supply regulating the movement of the motor. This is useful for systems requiring constant or progressively slowing movement rather than sudden stops and thus largely reduces motor wear. The absence of a holding brake also helps the motor in mechanical failure; the motor is more efficient and long-lasting.
It is especially beneficial to industrial automation systems and conveyor systems where the load is equally distributed or handled by holding brake. The absence of a holding brake makes the motor structure compact, reduces the maintenance frequency of the motor and increases the motor's service life.
