Product Description
The Bosch Rexroth MAC112C-0-ED-4-C/130-A-1/WI520/S005 is a best-in-class AC servomotor that is equipped with a tacho feedback and a mounted incremental encoder as its feedback options. The tacho feedback is used for speed evaluation and rotor position recognition, whereas the mounted incremental encoder is used for position evaluation. The incremental encoder either works with sinusoidal signals or square-wave pulses and they can accommodate varied supply voltages. The device temperature is monitored using the thermos switches, which are integrated into the windings and stator housing. This setup prevents overload damage.
Mounting the MAC motor to the machine is a simple process. There is a wide range of readymade cables available with the servomotor package, thereby eliminating extra installation work. The product has a special windings design which makes it run smoothly. The device is particularly suitable to be used in grinding machines and precision lathes. The power, encoder, and tacho feedback cables are connected directly to the servomotor using connectors on their flanged sockets. The black prime coat of the motor housing is resistant to yellowing, weathering, and chalky buildups.
In the MAC motor, the output shaft has a shaft sealing. The motor must not be picked up at the blower because this is likely to damage and tear the blower off of its housing. Heavy loads should be avoided at the shaft and impacts at the output shaft because doing so will damage the bearings within the servomotor. It should be noted that the device must be mounted to the machine only by well-trained personnel. When wiring the unit, the personnel should follow the terminal diagrams provided by the machine manufacturer.
