MAC112C-0-ED-4-C/130-A-1/WI517LX is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor. It is designed for industrial application such as robotics, machine tools, printing presses and packaging machines. The motor is part of the MAC product line. Salient features of MAC motors include maintenance-free operation, robust IP65 rated housing, tacho feedback with optional encoder, choice of multiple cooling methods, and optional holding brake. Bearings used on MAC motor don?t required lubrication during the motor?s operating lifespan. The reason is that the bearings are lubricated for the entire operating lifespan. Electronic commutation provides reliable and safe solid-state commutation. It removes safety risks associated with sparks caused by carbon brushed used in brushed motors. The MAC112C-0-ED-4-C/130-A-1/WI517LX motor comes with a plain shaft. Its diameter is 32 millimeters and approximately 60 millimeters of the shaft are outside the housing.

Length of the servo motor is 460 millimeters. The motor has a 193 millimeter flange. Centering diameter of the servo motor is 130 millimeters. Bosch has designed the motor for convection cooling. If required, operators can order MAC motors with the surface cooling option for applications with higher load requirements. MAC motors are available with axial and radial cooing fan options. Both types of cooling fans are available with 150 or 230 Volts AC supply options. The main power connection is on side A of the housing. A standard blocking brake is installed on the motor. Its holding torque rating is 45 Nm. The brake acts as a safety device, clamping on to the shaft and only allowing it to rotate after receiving a 24 Volts DC electrical release signal from the motor controller.
