Product Description
The MAC112C-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0/WR257XX/S005 is an AC servo motor that features electronic commutation for controlling the motor through the compatible motor controller modules such as the TDM, KDS, and DSC drive controllers. This AC servo motor has a Nominal operating voltage of 400 volts with a 3-phase input configuration and requires an input voltage frequency between 50 Hz to 60 Hz. This particular AC servo motor model draws approximately 57 Amperes of current when in standstill mode, producing a torque of 24 Nm.
To help regulate the speed of the MAC112C-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0/WR257XX/S005 AC servo motor, Rexroth has implemented tacho feedback voltage systems in all of their AC servo motors. This tacho feedback system generates 3-volt signals for every 1000 rpm speed this motor attains. This signal is then transmitted to the motor control module, which is used as an input to the closed-loop control system of the motor, ensuring it falls within the speed setpoint set by the operator to prevent the motor from overspeeding or running at a lower speed. This motor has a nominal speed of 3000 rotations per minute, perfect for operating gearboxes and drilling and spindle machines.
As this motor is capable of running at high speeds, it is bound to generate a lot of heat. To tackle this problem, the MAC112C-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0/WR257XX/S005 servo motor relies on the Natural convection cooling method. This type of cooling method depends on various factors, such as the area the motor is installed in and the surrounding temperature, as this motor needs the ambient temperature to be between 0 degrees Celsius to 45 degrees Celsius to operate efficiently without overheating.
