MAC112C-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0/WI517LV/S005 is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor. It is designed for use in industrial applications. Typical MAC motor applications include textiles, printing presses, machine tools and robotics. MAC motors are made with high-quality permanent magnets. The motors have low rotor inertia, which enables fast start and stop and helps to conserve energy. MAC motors support electronic commutation: this feature uses electronic circuits for commutation and replace carbon brushes that require periodic replacement. Bearings used on MAC motors are lubricated for their entire lifetime. The IP65 rated housing provides robust ingress protection. All these factors combine to make MAC motors reliable and enable maintenance-free operation. The MAC112C-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0/WI517LV/S005 motor is designed for convection cooling. While this cooling method provides lower rate of heat dissipation compared to surface cooling, it is less expensive and leads to lower operating expense.
The motor requires 0 to 45 degrees Celsius ambient temperature for rated output. At higher temperature, the motor output will be less than nominal rated values. The output of the motor will also be less that rated values if the site elevation is more than 1000 meters. The MAC112C-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0/WI517LV/S005 delivers 24 Nm continuous output torque at standstill and 57 Nm continuous current at standstill. Thermal time constant of the servo motor is 100 minutes. The motor has a shaft with keyway. Its centering diameter is 130 millimeters. Motors with larger centering diameter are available if required. MAC motors support tacho feedback for position evaluation. The MAC112C-0-ED-4-C/130-A-0/WI517LV/S005 is equipped with an additional incremental encoder for position evaluation. The main power connection is on side A of the housing. Connectors for the power and feedback cable must be ordered separately.
