MAC112C-0-ED-3-C/130-A-0/S005 is a servo motor. It is a product of Bosch Rexroth. The motor is designed for use in industrial automation systems that use closed loop control. MAC motors are equipped with tacho feedback developed especially for the product line. They work in combination with a servo controller that controls motor speed and shaft position. Real time feedback allows precise control of motor parameters. Closed loop control is used in applications that have very high requirements for precision and accuracy. High-quality permanent magnets used in MAC motors allow construction of motors with low inertia. Electronic commutation, used in place of carbon brushes, improves reliability and allows use of MAC motors in locations where brushed motors cannot be used. The MAC112C-0-ED-3-C/130-A-0/S005 motor has a shaft with keyway. The motor shaft complies with DIN 6885-1 requirements. Centering diameter of the motor is 130 millimeters. Motors with larger centering diameters are available from Bosch. The MAC112C-0-ED-3-C/130-A-0/S005 motor supports convection cooling. If required, operators can order MAC motors with surface cooling. Axial and radial cooling fans are available for the surface cooling option with 115 or 230 Volts AC external power requirements. The motor is not equipped with a holding brake. If required operators can order MAC112 motors with standard, heavy duty, or extra heavy duty holding brakes. The working temperature range is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius and the optimal range for site elevation is 0 to 1000 meters. The encoder cables should be routed separately from power line. Shielding can be used to improve protection from electromagnetic interference. The encoder cable must not be connected or disconnected when the motor is powered on.
