Product Description
Designed for low torque applications, the MAC112B-1-LD-4-C/130-A-0/WI594LV/S005 is a 17.5 Nm AC servo motor. This motor is designed to produce a speed of up to 2000 rotations per minute, making it a great choice for high-speed applications such as drilling and routing machines. This particular model also features an incremental encoder with standard mounting. This encoder generates 5 volts pulses every time a step is counted, letting the control module know how many steps it has passed.
This motor has a special option configuration as it features a keyway shaft as per DIN 6885. This shaft allows the motor to lock on a coupler to the shaft with the help of a key slot. This type of shaft is perfect for coupling heavy or high-torque components to prevent them from slipping off the shaft mid-operation, causing environmental damage or even accidents. The motor does support bearings of various kinds, all the way from standard to reinforced for very high speeds. The configuration of the bearings is dependent on the user's applications.
This servo motor can generate a torque of up to 17.5 Nm in a standstill position and can provide a torque of up to 25 Nm when operating at its top speed of 6000 rpm, which is subject to operating conditions and may change depending on the input electrical parameters of the motor. The motor requires anywhere between 240 volts AC to 480 Volts AC to function, with an input frequency range of 50 to 60 Hz. Since this is a 3 pole motor, exciting each coil with varying frequency can help regulate the speed of the motor.
