Product Description
With a torque rating of 17.5 Nm, the MAC112B-1-LD-3-C/180-A-0/S011 from Rexroth is a perfect AC servo motor that can be utilized for low torque robotics. This servo motor can be used in drilling applications as well, thanks to its high speed rotation of 2000 rpm which shall further increase to 6000 rpm with the use of standard bearings. These bearings are required to be lubricated every 20000 cycles and replaced after every 30000 cycles of use for enhanced performance and prolonging the life of the motor.
To protect the motor against aggressive vibrations, this servo motor comes with a reinforced body structure and has a centering diameter of 180 mm which keeps the shaft center aligned and helps balance the load on the shaft. The balanced load on the shaft prevents the shaft from breaking or bending during high-speed rotations. Lubrication of the shaft is also recommended after every 15000 cycles of use, and the use of a coupler is always encouraged to prevent the high-speed attached component from slipping off the shaft and causing accidents.
To keep the motor running smoothly, Rexroth recommends installing the motor in a cabinet or in an area with a maintained temperature between 0 to 45 degrees Celsius to prevent the motor from overheating. It is always recommended to install a motor of such high power in a well-ventilated room. Users are asked to take caution to prevent accidents before proceeding to operate the servo motor, as during operation, performing any maintenance activity might lead to injury. This motor also comes with an EMC capacitor connector to help remove or reduce noise from line signals to reduce unwanted harmonics.
