Designed to be used in conjunction with TDM, KDS, and DSC motor controllers, the MAC112B-1-LD-1-B/180-A-0/-I00625/S009 from Rexroth is a 2000 rpm AC Servo motor designed for high speed and low torque industrial applications. This motor is perfect for drilling applications since it does not feature an encoder for position tracking however users can attach their own digital encoders compatible with this motor. This motor can help regulate the speed of the motor with the help of the tacho feedback voltage system that generates 3 volts DC signal every time the motor passes 1000 rpm of speed sending a signal to the motor controller.
To keep the motor design compact, this motor has a centering diameter of 180 mm that allows this motor to be installed in a tightly confined space making it a great and compact option. Its wiring such as power connectors are also placed conveniently at the back of the motor so that the user can easily wire the motor and perform maintenance tasks without the hassle of removing the motor from its mount. Speaking of the mount, the motor allows both foot type and flange type mounting.
This motor has low power requirements of 17.5 Amperes with an input voltage of 170 to 480 Volts AC. It is recommended by the manufacturer to install this motor in a clean environment to help prolong the life of the motor although this motor is designed to withstand harsh industrial conditions thanks to its IP 67 protection rating against dust and water jets of low pressure. The motor blower fan also has an IP 44 protection rating keeping the internals safe as well from unwanted dust and water particles.
