Product Description
The MAC112B-0-PD-4-C/180-B-0/GR277XX/S011 is one of the most flexible products in the MAC series which is manufactured by Rexroth Indradrive. This motor is a permanent magnet excited motor and has been designed in such a way that the materials used in the construction of this motor are of low inertia and therefore it is very efficient and very fast to start. This motor is low on maintenance and is built with a strong structure and is protected to the IP65 standard which means it is protected from dust and water and moisture.
It is also important to note that this motor does not need any form of check up or even repair to be done on it. There are no brushes which implies that there is no need for frequent servicing of the motor and the motor has lubricated bearings for life thus reducing on the frequent services. The materials that have been used to construct this part of the motor are very much resistant to soluble oils and acids hence it is very efficient even in harsh conditions. The motor has two built-in thermoswitches that enable the motor to protect itself from overloading and thus prevent any damage. These are thermoswitches which regulate the temperature of a motor and ensure that it does not overheat and hence work efficiently. This makes the motor suitable for use in any application where the motor is expected to last longer while at the same time delivering a steady performance.
This high performance motor has a speed of 1500 RPM and 18.5 Nm torque which ensures its efficient and precise working. For the control of heat, steady state natural convection cooling is used. The motor has motor feedback for position and speed control to allow the precise positioning and the control of the speed of the motor. This is made possible by an integrated tachometer and mounted encoder which gives accurate and reliable data for advanced applications. The motor operates efficiently at a temperature of 0 to 45 degrees centigrade. In this temperature range the motor operates effectively and there is no need for any form of maintenance. However, practicing outside of this range may cause some adverse effects on motor performance.
