Product Description
With a continuous torque rating of 17.5 Nm and a speed of 2000 rotations per minute, the MAC112B-0-LD-1-B/130-A-0/-I01250/S001 is an ideal motor designed for high-speed low torque applications. This motor design is perfect for applications that require high-speed operation such as drilling and routing. The motor also comes with a flat half shaft which is perfect for attaching a drill chuck or a coupler to the shaft to prevent it from slipping when rotating at a high speed of 2000 rpm.
This motor comes with an encoder to count the number of lines for one complete square wave signal. For one complete rotation, the incremental encoder produces 1,250 lines. This data is sent over to the motor controller through serial communication for processing and communicating with the motor, to help move it towards the requested position. This motor relies on digital encoder communication techniques which helps the encoder and the motor controller use the master-slave architecture to communicate with multiple motors at the same time. The digital encoder communication method helps this motor debug error codes as well as generate a CRC code for error detection.
The motor weighs approximately 36 kilograms which is lightweight considering other models in the MAC series that go all the way up to 120 kilograms in weight. This motor also has a length of 112 mm and a centering diameter of 130 mm making it compact as well and easy to fit in a small area. The manufacturer recommends installing the motor in a well-ventilated area as it uses natural convection as a cooling method. The motor should operate at a maximum ambient temperature of 45 degrees Celsius.
