Product Description
As an industrial model, the Rexroth MAC112B-0-GD-4-C/130-B-1/WI505LV/S010 AC servo motor has been incorporated with high efficiency and accuracy of operation. The motor runs at a speed of 3,000 RPM with maximum continuous torque of 16.0 Nm at rest. By surface cooling, this torque may be increased to 29 Nm. Motor is good for heavy load applications since it can deliver continuous current of 41.0 Amperes and 75.0 within surface cooling. Also, under the most extreme working conditions, reliable operation is reinforced by a maximum of pulse current under the peak load conditions of 223 Amperes.
A rotor moment of inertia equaling to 120 _ 10__ kym2 is within the motor structure to enable the smooth increasing and decreasing of the speed in tasks that require accuracy in motion. Coupled with a winding resistance of 0.090 Ohms, winding inductance of 1.2 mH and temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, torque constant of 0.430 Nm/A enables efficiency in energy use and stability in performance. The reason why the motor can operate continuously without escalating the temperature is the 90 minute thermal time constant (or 60 minutes with surface cooling). A weight of thirty-six 36kg attests that it has been engineered to meet the challenging needs of industrial use.
When the machine is shut down, the servo axes are kept in position by the motor's holding brake. However, the holding brake on its own cannot ensure complete safety since it is not a working brake. Where it is expected to last up to twenty thousand motor spins against the closed brake, it will have the capacity to support the motor for short durations rather than long because of the closed brake forms friction & over-heating. If that will not be sufficient to provide the required safety, machine builders are encouraged to make modifications.
