Product Description

The MAC1120-0-E0-3-C/130-A-2/S018 AC servomotor is produced by Bosch Rexroth. It is a permanent magnet-excited motor with electronic commutation. The permanent magnets in the rotor of the device are composed of materials which make it possible to build motors with very low inertia. The housing of the motor is totally enclosed as per protection category IP 65. The motor power and tacho feedback cables are designed to meet IP 65 demands. That is why the servomotor can be used directly within the working area of the machine even under poor environmental conditions like the effects of coolants, soluble oil emulsions, and so on. The MAC servomotor sports excellent, smooth-running qualities resulting from the unique design of the stator and high-resolution tacho feedback. It is easy to mount the device to the machine. Pinions and belt pulleys can be mounted directly onto the shaft because the design of the bearing assembly facilitates the application of high radial loads. The device is protected by its housing and cover which in design and construction adhere to the guidelines found in DIN 40 050 and are, therefore, protected against contact with moving or alive motor parts, penetration of water, and penetration by extrinsic objects. The housing of the MAC servomotor is painted with a black prime coat. An extra layer of paint can cover this prime coat. However, the thickness of the layer should not exceed 40 mm. While this prime coat is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky buildups, diluted acids, and lye, it can peel if the motor housing is frequently cleaned with a steam cleaner. The product comes with a holding brake, which is not a working brake. The unit is equipped with a tacho feedback and a second shaft end.
