Product Description
The MAC093C-1-CS-3-C/110-A-0 is one of the fastest motor configurations in the MAC093C series as it can produce a speed of 6000 rotations per minute and is designed for applications such as drilling and CNC machines. This motor has a Thermal time constant of 50 minutes, which helps it to cool down its temperature in case it gets too hot. This motor also features a 230 Volts AC Axial fan that helps its internals cool down by passing the air through its internals and pushing it outside from the rear.
This motor has a rotor moment of inertia of 42 x 10^-4 kgm², which is the parameter that allows it to accelerate and decelerate its speed based on the conditions it is dealing with. Since this motor is particularly designed for drilling and milling, the MAC093C-1-CS-3-C/110-A-0 features a tacho feedback system to help regulate the speed of the motor depending on how fast the user wants the motor to spin. The tacho feedback system has a tacho voltage rating of 1.5 volts for every 1000 rotations performed per minute.
The MAC093C-1-CS-3-C/110-A-0 does not feature an encoder for tracking the movement of the shaft. This factor also adds to the overall limitations of the servo motor when it comes to using it for multiple applications as it is only meant for drilling purposes. However, the motor does feature an extended shaft on the rear end, which users can use to attach their encoder to track the movements of the shaft, turning the motor into a servo. The motor does not feature a blocking brake to prevent the shaft from moving from its fixed place.
