Product Description

The MAC093C-0-KS-4-C/130-B-0/WI534LX/S005 AC servo motor is designed for industrial manufacturing applications which include packaging, textile, drilling, milling, and robotic applications. This motor is designed to accommodate high torque output, offering around 19.5 Newtons of force per meter. The MAC093C-0-KS-4-C/130-B-0/WI534LX/S005 features a natural convection cooling design thanks to its all-metal body. It does not need to rely on any external cooling design systems like the MAD series of servo motors.

To help the motor transfer the torque to an external component connected to its shaft, the MAC093C-0-KS-4-C/130-B-0/WI534LX/S005 features a keyway design shaft as per the DIN 6885 standards. This keyway design has a balanced construction which helps prevent vibration and breaking of the shaft when heavy loads are applied to it. However, it is recommended to attach loads as per the rated conditions mentioned in the product manual to prevent them from breaking.

The MAC093C-0-KS-4-C/130-B-0/WI534LX/S005 features an incremental encoder that helps it move its shaft to the requested position by counting the number of increments achieved with the help of square wave pulses. Each square wave pulse denotes an increment which is then registered by the counter module present in the encoder chip. Once all 2048 increments are registered, the motor then considers a complete rotation has been achieved. The encoder can also move in an anticlockwise direction by producing negative square waves, which helps the motor subtract the increments moved in the opposite direction from the total increments. Such a feature is necessary when using this servo motor for robotics applications where the placement of the joints is very important and should be precise and accurate.
