Product Description
Part of the MAC series of AC servo motors designed for low-speed and high-torque applications, the MAC093C-0-KS-4-C/110-A-0/WI534LX from Rexroth Bosch Electric is an excellent piece of industrial hardware designed for precision. This AC servo motor can provide a torque of 19.5 Nm when it's in locked mode, which is ample enough for robotic and packaging applications as it can bear heavy loads without overheating.
This AC servo motor does not need an external cooling unit or feature a cooling fan but rather relies on Natural convection that uses an ambient air supply to cool the motor. Since it relies on ambient air, it is expected to install the motor in a well-ventilated area with a temperature range between 0 degrees Celsius and 45 degrees Celsius to prevent the motor from overheating. Although the motor has a Thermal time constant of 50 minutes, which allows the motor to quickly change its temperature from hot to normal in 50 minutes or vice-versa.
This AC servo motor uses an incremental encoder with a resolution of 2048 steps or increments, which helps break the entire 360-degree rotation into 2048 smaller segments to help increase the precision of the motor. With such high accuracy, the MAC093C-0-KS-4-C/110-A-0/WI534LX can be used for applications that require precise movement of the shaft with minimal error. The power connector of this motor is placed on side A, which is the top of the motor. This strategic position makes it easy to access the wiring of the motor as well as to maintain it when placed in an area with limited spacing. Users are recommended to perform servicing after 30000 cycles to help prolong the motor's life.
