MAC is a series of servo motor drives with rapid response and operate along with drives controllers DSC, TDM, and KDS. These are typically used for industrial applications including transfer facilities, handling equipment, packaging machinery, textile machines, printing presses and more. MAC servo motor drives use permanent magnet excitation employing the principle of electronic commutation. The magnetic materials being used are made up of the such materials which give the drive very low moment of inertia which is helpful in precise controlling and monitoring of the functions of the motor drive. The built-in feedback in the drive is always tachofeedback with space for additional mounted encoders for the position reading of the motor drive. Operationally speaking MAC servo drives are at best as it requires no maintenance uses high internal protection standards to operate under extreme environmental conditions. The MAC093C-0-FS-4-C/130-A-3/WA610XX/S005 is the unique part number of the MAC series which refers to the major specifications of the given drive. Motors for analogue drive is the abbreviation of the MAC with 093 as the motor size and C as the motor’s standard length. Digit 0 specifies the natural convection type cooling mechanism of the motor drive while the FS stands for the type of winding with its suitability for a rated speed of 3000 rpm. Digit 4-C is for the motor feedback viz. tachofeedback and can be mounted with additional encoders. Number 130 is the centering diameter and power connection is to the side A of the motor. The holding brake in the motor is with extra-heavy duty with a torque of 22 Nm.
