Product Description
The MAC093B-0-OS-4-C/110-B-2/DI519LV/S019 from Rexroth is a 2000 rpm AC servo motor that offers unique configurations in the MAC093 series. This particular AC servo motor features an Incremental encoder with shock-damped mounting. The incremental encoder in this AC servo motor operates on a 5-volt DC and generates square wave pulses for counting the number of increments. Each pulse signifies the number of increments counted. The encoder in this motor counts 1.024 lines or pulses for one complete rotation. The shock damper helps reduce vibration in the motor which helps its shaft to stay at the requested position without accidentally moving during vibration.
To further prevent the motor shaft from moving its position without a control signal, the MAC093B-0-OS-4-C/110-B-2/DI519LV/S019 features a 14 Nm heavy-duty holding brake. This electrically actuated brake requires 24 volts DC to operate with a nominal current requirement of 0.7 Amperes. The brake has a moment of inertia of 3.6 x 10-4 kgm² which is the force it takes for it to stop the shaft from rotating during motion. The brake is designed to provide rapid response; however, there will be a delay of 70 ms when releasing the brake or a 30 ms delay when clamping.
This motor also has a special centering diameter of 130 mm which helps keep the shaft at the dead center of the entire motor construction. This special diameter helps keep the load balanced on the shaft further helping reduce the vibration in the motor to keep the operation of the motor efficient and precise. For precise shaft positioning, the MAC093B-0-OS-4-C/110-B-2/DI519LV/S019 supports both incremental and absolute type encoders along with a tacho feedback system for speed regulation.
